- Got registered for the ETEX hackathon.
- Got the email, joined the meeting, opened the hackathon website.
- Chose "Military and Security" as the problem statementโthought Iโd build some cool stuff.
- Quit the hackathon 5 minutes later after realizing it was basically a CTF.
I donโt know who else got fooled like I did. But a hackathon is very different from a CTF, wegen.. A hackathon to a hacker is like a car to a carpenter.
