One thing I’ve noticed is that being a developer actually gives you an advantage when it comes to learning and picking up new things—even those that aren’t related to coding.

There’s this habit / mindset of always learning and improving yourself that’s common in programming, but not as common in other professions. That makes it easier to catch up quickly, if not become as good as average In relatively short amount of time.

On top of that, the experience of building things helps you understand what people are interested in, so you can create something they care about—or at least enjoy watching.

I'm planning to build an MCP server ... let me know if you have any APIs or tools you'd like integrated, or if there's anything specific you'd suggest.

I had an amazing time at Great Commission Everything was incredible—I got to hear @Dagmawi_Babi’s powerful testimony, wholesome worship, and the panel discussion on sharing the gospel through our skills and digital tools was incredibly inspiring. And the networking session? I probably need a whole separate post just to talk about that 😁🔥

Had some amazing conversations today. With a few people, we just clicked—like we were on the same wavelength. It felt so real, and I truly enjoyed every moment. Those kinds of talks are just so refreshing.

This is the kinda talk I enjoy. Like, you'd never find me this excited and lit up about another secular topic, fr.

By the time I was ready to leave, it was around 8:25 at Megenagna, and the road was blocked, so I was worried about getting home. But guess what? I ended up getting a ride from someone I met during the networking session! Bruh, you have no idea how grateful I am—really appreciate the ride, thank you so much. God bless you!
