For about a month now, I've been working on something pretty cool called Exam Buddy. It's basically an AI-powered platform to help you create exams, short notes, audiobooks (please don't do anything messed up😂), flashcards, and a chat assistant called Buddy Chat—who can even understand images! (Adding more and more features soon)

I initially built Exam Buddy as a simple AI quiz generator to help myself study for my Exit Exam. Surprisingly, it didn't just help me—it also helped friends like @yohan_nes, @DagNo1, @abel_cosmic, @bedri1, my little bro , and many others pass exams and get solid grades without stressing out too much.

Now, I thought: Why keep this just to ourselves? So, today I'm excited to share the first version of Exam Buddy with all of you.

Join the waitlist and be among the first to try it out 🙂

This is a really interesting idea ...asking random people for app ideas and building them. I might take a weekend to build a random app based on an idea from you guys. @selfmadecoder
I'm going live this Saturday to build an app end-to-end — and I want you to tell me what to build!

It won't be perfect, but I promise it’ll be a solid MVP. So drop your app ideas — things you’ve always wished existed — and mention whether you want it as a web, mobile, or desktop app.

I’ll run a poll on the most reacted ideas and build the top one live this weekend (hopefully) — let’s make something awesome together! 🔥

As for NerdSpace: you'll receive your welcome email this afternoon. There are still a few bugs left to fix, but I couldn’t keep up with all the DMs asking for access — so I had to just go ahead and send it out.

One thing I’ve noticed is that being a developer actually gives you an advantage when it comes to learning and picking up new things—even those that aren’t related to coding.

There’s this habit / mindset of always learning and improving yourself that’s common in programming, but not as common in other professions. That makes it easier to catch up quickly, if not become as good as average In relatively short amount of time.

On top of that, the experience of building things helps you understand what people are interested in, so you can create something they care about—or at least enjoy watching.

I'm planning to build an MCP server ... let me know if you have any APIs or tools you'd like integrated, or if there's anything specific you'd suggest.
