I worked with Raf on a couple of startup ideas last year, and that’s how I got to know him. He’s one of the most passionate and ambitious person I know. Lately, he’s been documenting his journey on YouTube, and I had to share because his videos are super inspiring, engaging and fun to watch.
Right now, he’s building an app and launching a startup called Interestly, all while sharing the process on YouTube. Go check out his channel!

Don't send your little bro, sis, kids, cousins, or anyone you care about to a boarding school or any school that claims to offer a ‘better education’ by handpicking so-called ‘top scoring students.
Most of these schools don’t educate ... they condition. They drill into kids' heads that their grades define their worth. Instead of encouraging teamwork, they turn students into competitors, making them hate others' success instead of celebrating their own wins.
And the worst part? It’s never enough. No matter how hard you study or how high you score, it doesn’t matter... because as long as someone else is doing better, you’re made to feel worthless.
They take young, bright kids and break them in ways that can’t be fixed. They make them doubt themselves, push them to the point where they stop asking why they’re doing something and just do it blindly, for the sake of pleasing the system.

It took me so much time and energy to undo this, so that's why I'm super sensitive about this topic. For those of you in boarding school, don’t let it get to you or sink in .. whatever it is. Failing is a part of life (if getting 95 or a 4.0 GPA is considered failing). It's also the drive behind innovation.
My fear is that these students will grow up avoiding failure in their lives, and to me, that’s like being dead. The moment we start avoiding failure as a society, we let innovation die—which is the real failure of society.

Lynx is incredible (deep dive into Tiktok's React Native killer)
TikTok just released a React Native killer. Lynx looks really really cool. Tt's not just a React Native alternative, but a different way to think about mobile apps all together.

I’ve got a bad habit of starting side projects and leaving them abandoned. Sometimes, I even finish them... and still leave them.
So, no new side projects until I finish the ones I’ve already started! (Of course, knowing me, I might still build some small side projects on the side of my main side project, but nothing big enough to distract me from my main one.)
And if I fail? I’ll take on @SoloDevChronicles’ 50KM in a day walking challenge. Because trust me—I really don’t want to do that. 😂
Let the project begin!

I’ve been making good progress over the past few days and realized that UI design is what burns me out the most.
To keep things moving, I’ll use shadcn’s design theme for now and focus on finishing the project. Once it’s done, I’ll go back and redesign it properly with @Natyiu0’s UI.

Saying ethics slows down scientific progress is like saying traffic laws slow us down—when in reality, they keep us safe and make sure we get where we're going.
My biggest fear is power falling into the hands of people like this. They’ll do anything to push their innovations on humanity just to feed their egos. But you can’t force people to use something just because it works—we’re not robots.
Think about it—why have ethics, morals, rules, and order lasted for thousands of years? Innovation pushes society forward, but these foundations keep it from falling apart. If you want to impose innovation, you either have to change society’s ethics, gain the power to force it, or accept that you can’t just ignore these things. Without them, there’s no society to innovate in.
I’m not saying we should stop innovating and only focus on ethics, but innovation can’t survive without these foundations. Without order, rules, and morals, humanity wouldn’t even exist

What did you like about the #Nerd_Space project?
- Was it the project itself, seeing me document my journey while building it, or witnessing how a product is built from scratch?
- Or was it the excitement of being part of something in its early stages, watching it come to life?
- Or did you relate to it personally?
Because I can tell this channel has grown significantly because of it.
