About the hackathon: You can build anything you want, but your project needs to include the following:
β A Problem Statement: Your project must solve a specific problem or challenge.
β No Tech as a Service Products: No Firebase, Supabase, Appwrite, or similar services. You get the point.
β Nice UI: Try to make it at least interactive. We need a good UX.
β Original Projects Only: No prior side projects are accepted. If any are found, youβll be disqualified immediately.
β Be Excited, Passionate, and Positive: Bring your energy and good vibes!
β Bonus: Tag and mention this channel and share your progress on the hackathon project.
You have one chance to choose your project idea and submit it. No duplicate forms are accepted. This is going to be so much fun! And guess what? The judges are from the community, so it's going to be super fun. Trust me, you donβt want to miss this!

When you've got tons of unfinished work or tasks for the day, and the electricity (Mebrat) decides to play hide and seek with you π€¦ββοΈπ. Then, just when you thought it couldn't get worse, you hear the transformer blow out just after the electricity has been acting like a dim light for a while ππ

I've been super busy with work and other things, but I'm back to posting regularly on this channel π. I've been inactive lately, especially in sharing my progress and projects. There are some projects I'm currently working on and finishing, so we'll start sharing those from today.
I'm not becoming yohannes, by the way π... I just thought it would be cool to share my setup. Just me and my PC in a blue-lit room π₯π₯

There is nothing better than Ethiopian night time to understand Next.js π, SSG, caching, CSR, SSR. Dude, the slow internet is teaching me more than the Next.js docs... I don't even need to know which component is served through what kind of render.
This is the art you guys should learn from me... problems to opportunities ππ( just kidding )

Tonight, at 3:00pm local time we are going to have an amazing conversation with one of the most amazing and inspiring people I've ever met, a friend, a charitable person and an amazing dev @ChapiDevTalks π
Graduating from ASTU in CS degree, he's a full time remote dev working in Dubai then Bahrain which also makes him one of the top earning remote workers in Ethiopia. He's a talented senior backend developer who also educates and mentors devs about the tech life on his free time. And much more.π₯³
This is a long conversation about his early childhood, family and friends, relationships and belief, tech and hobbies, thoughts on sensitive and philosophical topics and much more. We're all going to learn alot from him.π₯°
Until the show starts you can drop any of your questions in the comment section or in SMA anonymously

The session will be recorded and uploaded later. Can't waitπ₯³
