Ukraine launched a large-scale overnight strike involving drones and missiles against targets deep inside Russia, triggering air defenses across multiple regions. In Leningrad Region, 29 drones were intercepted, , while a fire broke out in an industrial zone in Kirishi, home to the Kinef oil refinery - one of the country’s largest refining facilities.

Additional strikes were reported in Cheboksary, roughly 1,000 km from Ukraine, where drones and missiles targeted the VNIIR-Progress plant, a manufacturer of electronics used in Russian military systems. The scale of the operation extended further, with missile alerts issued in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, nearly 2,000 km from Ukraine and located in western Siberia.

Russian forces also attacked Ukraine with 11 Iskander-M missiles and 175 UAVs. Air defense forces destroyed 1 missile and 149 drones. Impacts were recorded from 8 ballistic missiles and 14 attack UAVs across 14 locations. Debris from intercepted targets fell in 10 additional locations.

A cruise voyage from Argentina toward Cape Verde has come under international health scrutiny after an onboard cluster of suspected hantavirus infections left 3 passengers dead and several others ill, prompting monitoring by the World Health Organization.

According to preliminary findings, 7 cases have been identified, while authorities in Cape Verde have restricted disembarkation as a precaution.

Romania has entered a new phase of political uncertainty after Parliament passed a decisive no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan’s pro-European leftist minority government.

The motion, supported primarily by the Social Democratic Party and the Alliance for the Union of Romanians, secured a strong majority with 281 votes in favor, effectively toppling the coalition composed of the National Liberal Party, Save Romania Union, and Democratic Alliance of Hungarians in Romania.

The collapse follows the Social Democrats’ withdrawal from the ruling arrangement in late April, which stripped the government of its parliamentary majority.

Bolojan will remain in office in an interim capacity while consultations begin for forming a new government and naming a new Prime Minister.

Earlier today (Tuesday), the IDF attacked a Hamas armed terrorist cell while they were operating in northern Gaza, near IDF forces deployed in the Yellow Line area.

In another incident, combat team forces from the Hamatz (14) Brigade operating in northern Gaza attacked yesterday (Monday) 5 terrorists who approached the Yellow Line and operated near the forces, constituting an immediate threat.

Most of the terrorists were eliminated, and additional hits were identified.
