Minister of Heritage of Israel, Amihai Eliyahu, posted the photo above following the threats and offenses brought to the Israeli leadership by Turkey's President Erdogan:
Turkey, which conquered Northern Cyprus and controls Kurdish territories in the east, dares to lecture us on morality. Turkey, which built its economy on the Armenian Genocide, dares to accuse us of genocide. Turkey, which enforces Islamization by force, dares to speak about human rights.
The hypocritical Erdogan doesn't impress anyone with this current circus. The people of Israel have been convicted in many "courts" throughout history.
In the Inquisition, they judged us for being Jews. When we fought back after pogroms they carried out against us, they judged us for being too strong. And in the Holocaust, they judged us for the mere fact of our existence.
Always after every "trial," we came back stronger. And so it will be against this megalomaniacal dictator with imperialist ambitions who thinks to be an Ottoman Sultan, while he is no more than a pathetic tyrant of a country with a collapsing economy and a dead democracy.
It's time to close this sad chapter of relations with this fascist despot.
Tomorrow at the government meeting, I will demand from the Foreign Minister and the Prime Minister to close the embassy and consulate immediately.

Yesterday (Saturday), IDF troops under the Southern Command, together with the ISA, eliminated an armed Hamas terrorist cell that approached the Yellow Line and planned to carry out an imminent terror attack against IDF troops operating in the central Gaza Strip.
Following intelligence assessments, it was determined that during the strike, the IDF eliminated the terrorist Ali Sami Mohammad Shakra, a Hamas Nukhba platoon commander, who infiltrated the State of Israel during the October 7 massacre and took part in the abduction of Hersh Goldberg-Polin, Alon Ohel, Eliya Cohen, and Or Levy from a bomb shelter in Reβim.
Furthermore, during the strike, the IDF eliminated Mohammad Mabhouh, a regional company commander in Hamasβ al-Bureij Battalion, and the terrorist Mohammad Fuad Jaser Sayyid. Both terrorists took part in the holding of Avinatan Or in Hamas captivity.
The IDF now reveals a photo of Mohammad Fuad Jaser Sayyid, a Hamas platoon commander, alongside Avinatan Or during his captivity in a Hamas tunnel. Additionally, during the strike, additional Hamas Nukhba terrorists were eliminated, including terrorists who operated to launch rockets toward Israel.

Israel's Defense Minister Israel Katz, from southern Lebanon, once again threatens Hezbollahβs current Secretary-General and describes Nasrallahβs final moments:
βHe choked in some room where he was trapped. He had a few minutes to think about how wrong he was in understanding the Jews, that we have changed. He didnβt realize that we changed because of what happened and as things were unfolding, and therefore he didnβt understand that action would be taken against him. The same goes for Naim Qassem, and the same for the Iranians, and for all of them.β

Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam gave a statement today. Keynotes:
Some of us were mistaken when we burdened Lebanon with more than it can bear, prioritizing solidarity with just causes over the requirements of protecting the country's sovereignty and security.
Anyone who resorted to external support, believing that this outside party had no goal other than supporting them, was mistaken; they found themselves prisoners of a game larger than them.
I fully understand the pain of those who have lost their loved ones and homes, and I understand their anger even at the gates of the Serail.
The south will not be left alone again in the face of fear, destruction, and anxiety over its fate.
We will continue working to stop this war, ensure the withdrawal of Israeli forces from all our lands, secure the return of all our prisoners, rebuild our destroyed villages and towns, and enable the safe return of our displaced people so they can live there with dignity and safety.
We will continue our efforts to stop the war, foremost among them the initiative presented by the President to negotiate an end to the war, and to enable legitimate state institutions to fully carry out their role in protecting Lebanon and all Lebanese.

With this kind of discourse Lebanon has very slim chances to recover. By "just causes" in his speech, Salam reffers to siding with the Hamas terrorists and start wars in their support.
By "they found themselves prisoners" he literally makes Hezbollah to be victims that fell pray to Iran. Poor them..
He also lies - the Lebanese state and army abandoned the south long time ago.
All he said that the state will work for includes everything other than the causes that started this war in the first place - terrorism and unprovoked attacks on Israel.
What he calls "legitimate state institutions" had all the time in the world to work and do their job before the war, but actively chose not to.

Israel is ready to discuss a peace agreement with Lebanon, but not to stop the war against the Hezbollah terrorist organization.

Israel's internal security service - Israel Security Agency (ISA), commonly known as Shabak or Shin Bet - has dropped fliers over Gaza, urging the arabs to inform on the Hamas terrorist organization:
O people of the coast, Hamas turned out to be weaker than a spider's web, it's collapsing more and more. Whoever wants to move forward with agreement and stability, and whoever cares about their future and their childrenβs future, should get in touch with me.

With 98.94% of the votes counted, Viktor Orban has lost his parliament majority in yesterday's election in Hungary. The opposition won with a majority of 2 3rds of the seats.
Mandates won (representatives):
β TISZA : 138
β Fidesz - KDNP: 55
β MI HazΓ‘nk: 6
Orban called and congratulated Peter Magyar on his election victory.
From Viktor Orban's speech last night: The election result, although not yet complete, is understandable and clear. The responsibility and opportunity of governance were not given to us. I congratulated the winning party. We will continue to serve our country and the Hungarian nation. We will never give up. Never, never!
President of the EU, Ursula von der Leyen: Hungary has chosen Europe. Europe has always chosen Hungary.
***
An interesting dictatorship (how leftists used to call Orban's rule) in which the "dictator" loses in free elections and doesnβt even barricade himself in his palace. Also, when von der Leyen is pleased by something, it is the strongest indicator to tell you how bad the situation is.
Orban is out, and Magyar is in. However, the test for Hungary will not be whether it is liked more or less by the EU, but whether it will look more or less like the EU. Much of Western Europe is, de facto, an Islamic-controlled territory - by mentalities and in parts also by rule.
Magyar may be popular in Europe but the real question is whether he will still oppose the EU where necessary and remain a strong partner within the VisegrΓ‘d Group. The VisegrΓ‘d Group - Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia - is the bloc that fights for:
β’ Strong emphasis on national sovereignty
β’ Resistance to centralized EU policies (especially migration quotas)
β’ Conservative political tendencies (which vary by country and leadership)
Time will tell.
