Demonstrations have erupted in Beirut, where protesters are voicing anger at Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, accusing him of failing to halt Israeli attacks on Lebanon.

In front of the Grand Serail in Beirut, supporters from both the Amal Movement and Hezbollah terrorist organizations gathered and chanted: “We are at your command, Nasrallah.”

The IDF Spokesperson in Arabic, Col. Avichay Adraee, has published a new evacuation warning for an extended area of Beirut, Lebanon.

It includes 8 neighborhoods in Dahieh, including the "palestinian" refugee camps Sabra, Shatila, Burj al-Barajneh, and the Sports City, a location very close to the international airport.

Following this, residents started fleeing Jnah and Ouzai - 2 new areas included in the broader evacuation warning issued first time weeks ago.

IDF spokesperson in Arabic, Col. Avichay Adraee states that efforts by the Lebanese Armed Forces to enforce disarmament south of the Litani River have failed, contradicting LAF’s January 8, 2026 declaration that it had completed the first phase of clearing weapons from the area.

Hezbollah has launched approximately 3,000 rockets and projectiles from southern villages since March 2, indicating that its military infrastructure remains intact.

Hezbollah terrorists were able to move freely across the Litani River, transporting fighters and equipment without effective interference, this reflecting a broader failure to impose state control and dismantle militant capabilities in the region.

About 10 Hezbollah rockets were fired from Lebanon towards Nahariya and the surrounding area, in northern Israel. Most rockets fell in open areas, one interception attempt was made, and one impacted in an agricultural area near Nahariya. No injuries.

In total, Hezbollah has fired some 70 rockets from Lebanon at northern Israel today.

The IDF is surrounding the city of Bint Jbeil - one of the main terrorist strongholds in southern Lebanon, launching an offensive to occupy so it can work to clear the area of Hezbollah and its infrastructure.

Hezbollah said in a statement that its operatives are engaged in clashes with advancing Israeli troops after the town was encircled in recent days. Hezbollah said it uses light arms and RPG fire against Israeli soldiers who are advancing in the town, as well as rocket barrages on other troops in the area.

IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir toured the outskirts of Bint Jbeil in southern Lebanon earlier today, where the military is battling Hezbollah terrorists.

"The IDF is at war. We continue to fight with great strength against the terrorist organization Hezbollah. Yesterday, we entered a ceasefire with Iran - we are prepared to return to fighting powerfully if required. Our main battlefield is here in Lebanon. We continue to deepen the maneuver and continue to strike Hezbollah. This is a very powerful operation; our forces are operating on the front lines and in depth.

The IDF's achievements in the war against Iran are unprecedented and historic. Iran before this war is not the same Iran; it is much weaker. We have hit every part of Iran's value chain. I see the strong spirit you demonstrate. You are exhausting Hezbollah. Wherever we are required to gain an advantage, we will decisively and significantly defeat it.
