Ukraine launched a large overnight drone strike on Novorossiysk, hitting Russia’s main Black Sea oil export hub and nearby port infrastructure.

The attack sparked multiple fires, damaged oil-loading equipment, and possibly disrupted shipments.

A wave of overnight coordinated series of drone attacks struck multiple locations across the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, with explosions reported in Koya and strikes targeting areas in Sulaymaniyah and Erbil governorates.

In Koya, drones hit camps linked to the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran (KDPZ-I), while additional strikes were recorded in the Soran district of Erbil Governorate. In Sulaymaniyah, drones caused material damage, including severe destruction to a residential house struck twice, and also impacted a building associated with the United Nations.

There are casualties.

The head of the Intelligence Directorate in the Iranian Revolutionary Guards (IRGC), Maj. General Majid Khademi, has been eliminated in an airstrike.

Khademi was one of the IRGC’s most senior commanders and had accumulated extensive military and security experience over many years. Khademi was appointed to his position following the elimination of Mohammad Kazemi in Operation Rising Lion. In his role, he was responsible for gathering intelligence and helping formulate a comprehensive situational assessment for the regime’s senior leadership during Operation Roaring Lion. Khademi was a key figure in the campaign, and the intelligence he gathered was used to advance and execute terrorist activities.

Additionally, Khademi worked to advance terrorist activities against the State of Israel and against Jewish targets worldwide. He also took part in attempts to target American individuals and was responsible for monitoring Iranian civilians as part of the regime’s suppression of internal protests.

After many hours of intensive efforts and operations by the National Rescue Unit (NRU), alongside forces from the Haifa District and the Home Front Command’s Search and Rescue Brigade, and in cooperation with emergency organizations and firefighters, 4 israeli civilians who had been trapped under the rubble following an Iranian missile impact yesterday, were recovered from the scene deceased.

They are a man and a woman, husband and wife, in their 80s, a man in his 40s, and a woman, his partner, aged 35.

Throughout the night, dozens of reserve rescuers from the National Rescue Unit operated at the site, under the command of the unit’s commander, Colonel (Res.) Yossi Pinto, and the company commander, Lieutenant Colonel (Res.) Shlomi Anavi, together with additional rescue personnel.
