Senior Christian leaders in Jerusalem warn that outside interference, particularly from "Christian Zionism" and certain political actors in Israel, threatens the unity and future of Christianity in the Holy Land. They claim that these damaging ideologies mislead the public and harm the Christian community:
"Recent activities undertaken by local individuals who advance damaging ideologies, such as Christian Zionism, mislead the public, sow confusion, and harm the unity of our flock. These undertakings have found favor among certain political actors in Israel and beyond who seek to push a political agenda which may harm the Christian presence in the Holy Land and the wider Middle East." [...] The Patriarchs and Heads of Churches in Jerusalem reiterate that they alone represent the Churches and their flock in matters pertaining to Christian religious, communal, and pastoral life in the Holy Land."

The British newspaper The Times reports that doctors, on the ground, in Iran say that at least 16,500 protesters have been killed and about 330,000 have been injured.
Many of the protesters who were injured died due to a shortage of blood. In some cases it wass reported that IRGC operatives refused to allow doctors to perform blood transfusions to save the wounded.
It was also reported that regime forces even dragged protesters from their hospital beds into detention, or left them to die, as I reported here last Friday.
