Mapai Transport owner, Mr Jacob Luke passed away today at his Mukmares home in Lakolam, Enga Province.
Shocked reliable sources just confirmed his passing. The cause of his passing is still unknown when this news article was published.

Waigani, Gerehu, Rainbow, Gordons, Erima, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 mile, 3mile Manu, Kila Kila, Town, Hohola, Tokarara, all the traffic area, all the market and, almost all the public places in Port Moresby are under attack. Please residents, stay indoor. Pom is not safe now. Vehicles are smashed and drivers and passengers are attacked by unknown armed by standers. If you wear any political shirts and caps, remove them now. Shops are not safe to open too. People will take advantage and break all the stores and supermarkets. Police and DFs are outnumbered. The good citizens of Lakolam tortured nine (9) innocent citizens of Papua New Guinea this past week.
They said to themselves, "If only we could identify who has killed (eaten the heart energy) our beloved leader, perhaps we can convince them to put the "heart" back and bring him back to life."
They said to themselves, "Sangumas are new to Enga, but now that they are here among us, we should watch out for them."
They said to themselves, "When you torture a sanguma, she doesn't feel pain." And they said "It's a spirit inside the woman, not the woman herself."
They said all these crazy things to themselves, just to justify the violence they were planning to do.
When the fire was hot and the crowd was ready, they stripped the mothers and grandmothers and brought them forward. They needed to show that they were in control of something, at least. They needed to show that they were the ones who were trying to do something.
And what they did was pure shocking evil.
And our beloved leader is still dead. It was useless violence.
What is the cost of this violence, apart from the pain and deaths of these women, the suffering of their children?
Once upon a time, there was a happy young boy who was gentle and sweet, curious and brave. He listened to the thoughts and concerns of others. But then a masalai (a class of traditional spirit being) whispered Fear to him and the boy began to close his heart. He painted his face in angry colours. He took up weapons and showed them to people when he spoke, because he was afraid of what they might say back. Every time the paint on his face began to crack, the masalai helped him to put another layer on. The boy could not feel. He could not cry. But he could be violent.
The boy grew up and met other boys like him and together they listened to the lies of the masalai. They made plans to take what was not theirs. They terrorized the community. They burned homes and businesses and schools. They bullied their sisters and abused their lovers. Their paint never cracked and their hearts never broke.
And then, one day, when the masalai asked them to torture their own grandmothers, they did. Because they believed the many stories they had told to themselves. So many layers of nasty, lying paint.
The boys could not even see that what they had done was evil. They could not feel their own faces anymore, because the paint was too thick. They could not love, they could not care. They could not lead families - or a nation - where love, safety and respect formed the foundation of a good future for the children.
Punish them if you want to, but pity them too, these broken, lost boys. They are our boys. They are us.
It's time to wash off our paint. Taim blo tanim bel. (It's time to turn our hearts - that is, time to repent.)
