The Virtue of Friday:

‎Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله

‎"Friday is the day of worship, its comparison to other days like the comparison of the month of Ramadan to other months and the hour in it is like the Night of Decree in Ramadan."

Ten phrases that easily lead to Paradise

Ten different phrases that are short, easy, and light, but will give you what no eye has seen, no hear has heard, and what no mind has imagined.

Enjoy (and implement):

6 – “Whoever asks Allah for Paradise three times [Allahumma inni as’aluk al-Jannah], then Paradise will say: “O Allah! Enter him into Paradise!” And whoever seeks protection with Allah from the Fire three times [Allahumma najjini min an-Nar], the Fire will say: “O Allah! Protect him from the Fire!“”

[Reported by at-Tirmidhi, and it is authentic]

7 – “Whoever seeks forgiveness for the believing men and the believing women, Allah writes for him – for every believing man and woman – a good deed.”

[Reported by at-Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah, and Ahmad, and it is authentic]

8 – ‘Abdullah bin Mas’ud said: “Whoever reads ‘al-Mulk’ (chapter 67 of the Qur’an) every night, Allah will protect him from the torment of the grave. At the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), we used to call it al-mani’ah (that which protects). In the Book of Allah, it is a chapter which – whoever recites it every night – has done very well.”

[‘Sahih at-Targhib wat-Tarhib’; # 1475]

9 – “Whoever asks Allah sincerely for martyrdom [Allahumma inni as’aluk ash-shahadah], Allah will cause him to reach the status of the martyrs even if he dies in his bed.”

[‘Sahih al-Bukhari’; # 1909]

10 – “No one witnesses that there is none worthy of worship but Allah and that I am Allah’s Messenger – truthfully, from his heart – except that Allah makes the Fire of Hell forbidden to touch him.”

[Reported by Muslim, Ahmad, and al-Bayhaqi]

For Those Who Are Not Able To Perform Hajj This Year!

Ibn Rajab al-Ḥanbalī Raḥimahullāh said: “Whoever is not able to stop at Arafah, then stop at the limits of Allāh He has set.

Whoever is not able to spend the night at Muzdalifah, let him spend the night in obedience to Allāh to come close and attain nearness to Him.

Whoever is not able to slaughter at Minā, then let him slaughter his desires so by it he can reach his objective.

Whoever cannot make to Ka'bah and is far from it then let him serve the Lord of Ka'bah for He is nearer than jugular vein.”

● [وقال ابن حجر رحمه الله : إسناده حسن ، أنظر : الفتح ٢/٤٤٦]

• Praying Two Rak’āt (units) After Returning Home From 'Eīd Prayer:

From Abū Sa'eed al-Khudree Raḍi-Allāhu 'Anhu who said: “The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ would NOT PRAY ANYTHING BEFORE the 'Eīd prayer then when he returned to his house (after prayer), he would pray 2 units (Rak’āt).”

● [رواه ابن ماجه ١٢٩٣ ، صححه الحاكم وحسنه ابن حجر والألباني رحمهم الله]

⚠ IMPORTANT NOTE: This is an abandoned Sunnah (سنة مهجورة), so revive it please, Imām al-Ḥākim used to say regarding it هذه سنة عزيزة (This is a noble Sunnah). ⚠

‎Imaam Ibn Ḥajar Raḥimahullāh: “Expressing joy on the day of 'Eid is from the religious symbols of Islām.”
‎
‎● [فتح الباري ٢/٤٤٣]

The Takbeer in unison and in congregation

Sheikh Bin Baz: However, doing it (the Tabkeer during Eid) in unison, in congregation, has no basis. This Takbeer in group, or Talbiyah in group, is not legislated. But everyone should make Talbiyah or Takbeer without intending to start and finish their voices together with their brothers (synchronize their voices). This has no basis. And we do not know this from the Messenger ﷺ or his Sahabah, may Allah be pleased with them. Yes.

Presenter: Does one fall into sin by doing this, o eminent sheikh?

Sheikh Bin Baz: There is fear of sin, because it is an innovation (bidah). There is fear of sin, yes.
