#UninsuredDeposits

US Banks Deposit $30 Billion in First Republic Bank Amidst Tumultuous Month

Bank of America, Citigroup, JPMorgan Chase and Wells Fargo announced today they are each making a $5 billion uninsured deposit into First Republic Bank.
Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley are each making an uninsured deposit of $2.5 billion, and BNY‑Mellon, PNC Bank, State Street, Truist and U.S. Bank are each making an uninsured deposit of $1 billion, for a total deposit from the eleven banks of $30 billion,” the banks said in a statement.🔥🔥🔥

This is the first time in living memory that banks take such action, with it conjuring images from the books of a century ago when the then living JP Morgan bailed out the banks

This is just the beginning! -

🌡️La tension is rising. The government is using force, the street is raising its voice and actions are multiplying. We take stock of the many initiatives that have taken place since yesterday:

➡️Normandie: the largest refinery in France, located in Gonfreville-l'Orcher, totally blocked and shut down by the strikers

➡️Rennes: the ring road totally blocked on Thursday morning, the city paralysed, 40 kilometres of traffic jams. This Friday, the Suez waste collection depot is blocked

➡️Nantes : numerous blockades over the last two days : postal sorting centre, tramway, water authority... A conference of employers planned at the Beaujoire had to be protected by hundreds of CRS

➡️Saint-Nazaire : operation "dead port", big blockade of the industrial zone

➡️Donges : total blockage of the refinery and the oil depot. Faced with the risk of an assault by the CRS, the blockade was reinforced.

➡️Saint-Etienne de Montluc near Nantes: blockade of the ScaOuest warehouse

➡️Die, in the Drôme: an arson attack on the sub-prefecture

➡️Paris: blockades of garbage truck depots are attacked by the police in Vitry and Ivry. Striking refuse collectors and their supporters gassed. The Paris ring road blocked in 3 points this Friday morning

➡️Ardennes: the A34 motorway linking Reims to Charleville totally blocked on Friday morning

➡️Le Le Havre: the port area totally inaccessible since dawn on Friday
Power cuts at the house of LR leader Retailleau.

➡️La Presidential residence of Brégançon also deprived of power on Thursday.

➡️Toulon : the railways are invaded
High school blockades everywhere

🧨Night of riot: Thursday night, barricades set on fire a few hundred meters from the Elysée, the town halls of Rennes and Lyon attacked, Nantes out of control until midnight, clashes in Saint-Etienne, Marseille, and in many other cities ...

🚨The president of the Renaissance group Aurore Bergé asks Gérald Darmanin to "mobilise the services of the State" for the "protection of the parliamentarians" of the majority.

👋And this is not exhaustive
💢 🚨 THE UN EXONERATES RUSSIA -  The UN concludes that there is no evidence of Russian genocide against the Ukrainian population - March 16 '23

🔹 The first months of the Russian invasion were marked by a scandal around some cities, such as Bucha. The topic of mass graves of the civilian population, allegedly killed by the Russians, was actively promoted by Ukrainian mass media.

An international commission was invited to investigate the crimes committed by the Russians in the city. But even the international group was not able to find any evidences of massacres of the local population by the Russian soldiers.

IRELAND AND THE CELTIC CHURCH
A HISTORY OF IRELAND
from ST PATRICK TO THE

ENGLISH-CONQUEST IN 1172
St. Patrick (c. 386-461 CE) is the patron saint of Ireland and is widely credited with converting the Irish to Christianity. His life and mission provide valuable insights for those on a journey toward self-initiation, as his experiences exemplify the virtues of perseverance, adaptability, and respect for local culture while spreading spiritual teachings.

1. Perseverance: St. Patrick's journey began with adversity. As a teenager, he was kidnapped by Irish pirates and taken as a slave to Ireland. During his 6-years of captivity, he turned to his Christian faith for solace and strength. Eventually, he managed to escape and returned to his family in Britain. However, he felt called to return to Ireland as a missionary, despite the difficulties he had faced there. St. Patrick's perseverance in the face of hardship demonstrates the importance of resilience and determination in one's spiritual journey.

2. Adaptability: Upon his return to Ireland, St. Patrick encountered a society deeply rooted in pagan beliefs and practices. Instead of outright rejecting these beliefs, he sought to understand and incorporate them into his Christian teachings. One famous example is the use of the shamrock to explain the concept of the Holy Trinity (the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) to the Irish people. By finding common ground and adapting his teachings to the local context, St. Patrick was able to communicate the essence of Christianity in a way that resonated with the Irish people.

3. Respect for local culture: St. Patrick recognized the importance of respecting and engaging with local customs and practices. He often participated in local feasts and celebrations, using these events as opportunities to share his Christian message. By respecting and honoring Irish traditions, St. Patrick built trust and rapport with the local population, which ultimately facilitated the acceptance and spread of Christianity in Ireland.

4. Establishment of monastic communities: One of St. Patrick's most significant contributions to Irish Christianity was the establishment of monastic communities. These monasteries served as centers of learning and spiritual practice, playing a crucial role in the preservation and dissemination of Christian teachings throughout Ireland and beyond. They also provided a structured environment for individuals seeking to deepen their spiritual practice and dedicate their lives to the service of others.

St. Patrick's life and mission offer valuable lessons for those pursuing self-initiation. His perseverance in the face of adversity, adaptability in communicating spiritual teachings, respect for local culture - all serve as inspiration for those pursuing their own spiritual path. By learning from St. Patrick's example, one can navigate their own journey toward self-initiation with resilience, understanding, and compassion.
