The plan of the attack on northwestern Syria has been devised by the Turkish occupation which intends to execute its schemes with the collaboration of the Al-Nusra Front. This attack is managed step by step by Turkey and to fully comprehend this process, it is crucial to see Turkey's role.
The developments in northwestern Syria are sensitive, and we directly care about them and closely monitor them. Whatever happens, our national and moral priority remains the defense of our people and our regions. Therefore, we will intervene as necessary to defend our people.

We are always ready to protect our people and defend our territories.

تطورت الأحداث في شمال غرب سوريا بشكل متسارع ومفاجئ، حيث واجهت قواتنا هجمات مكثفة من عدة جهات. مع انهيار وانسحاب الجيش السوري وحلفائه، تدخلنا لفتح ممر إنساني بين مناطقنا الشرقية وحلب ومنطقة تل رفعت لحماية شعبنا من المجازر.
لكن هجمات المجموعات المسلحة المدعومة من الاحتلال التركي قطعت هذا الممر.
قواتنا دافعت ببسالة عن أهلنا في حلب وتل رفعت والشهباء.
إننا نعمل على التواصل مع كافة الجهات الفاعلة في سوريا لتأمين حماية شعبنا وإخراجه بأمان من منطقة تل رفعت والشهباء باتجاه مناطقنا الآمنة في شمال شرق البلاد.
بينما تستمر مقاومة قواتنا لحماية أهالينا في الأحياء الكردية بمدينة حلب.

Statement by Our SDF Commander-in-Chief Mazlum Abdi Regarding the Recent Developments in Northwestern Syria

The situation in northwest Syria has developed rapidly and suddenly, with our forces facing intense attacks from multiple fronts. Following the collapse and withdrawal of the Syrian Army and its allies, we intervened to establish a humanitarian corridor between our eastern regions, Aleppo, and the Tal Rifaat area, with the aim of protecting our people from potential massacres.
However, the attacks of the armed groups backed by the Turkish occupation have disrupted this corridor.
Our forces have valiantly defended our people in Aleppo, Tal Rifa’at, and al-Shahba’a.
We are actively coordinating with all relevant parties in Syria to ensure the safety of our people and facilitate their secure relocation from the Tal Rifa’at and Shahba’a areas to our safe areas in the northeast of the country.
Concurrently, our forces continue to resist to protect our people residing in the Kurdish neighborhoods of Aleppo.

Our Manbij Military Council forces successfully thwarted an attack by Turkish occupation mercenaries on the western villages of Manbij district. As a result, ten mercenaries were eliminated. Subsequently, the Turkish occupation mercenaries launched a barrage of artillery shells on the area.
