SDAI Nightly Builds are here.

From now on, we will publish fresh Android preview builds with the newest SDAI changes.

In plain words: a nightly build is the try-what's-new-early version of SDAI. It lets you test fixes and new features before they land in a regular Google Play / F-Droid release.

Use it if you like trying new stuff and do not mind the occasional rough edge. If you want the most predictable experience, stay on the stable build.

We made it! SDAI has passed App Store review and is officially live for iPhone.

That means iOS users can install SDAI the normal Apple way, straight from the App Store. No sideloading, no extra steps, no workaround needed.

SDAI stays what it was built to be: no ads, no telemetry, open source, and provider-first. Bring the AI setup you already use, write prompts, tune settings, and keep your results in a clean local gallery.

SDAI TestFlight Beta is now public!

We have opened a public TestFlight invite for iOS.

If you use SDAI on iPhone and want to try upcoming changes before they reach the regular App Store version, this is now the easiest way to do it: open the beta page, join TestFlight, install the build, and send feedback when something feels off.

Quick note: TestFlight builds are beta builds. They may include new fixes, UI updates, and app behavior we are still validating. If you want the calm everyday version, stay on the App Store. If you like being early and helping shape releases, TestFlight is for you.

SDAI 1.1.0 is live.

This release is a big step toward making SDAI feel like a real mobile AI workspace, not just a place where you pick a backend and hope it works.

What's new:

- (Beta) Benchmarks before local generation. SDAI can check your device and suggest realistic local settings before you start a heavy run.
- (Beta/Alpha) More local AI options. Android gets Local SDXL through stable-diffusion.cpp, while iPhone gets Core ML and PrismML Bonsai on supported devices.
- More provider choice. Fal.ai and ArliAI join the provider list, alongside the existing self-hosted and cloud options.
- Better provider selection. Search, filters, readiness badges, and tags make it easier to pick the right backend.
- Storage and network usage. See what models, cache, gallery items, and provider traffic are using.
- Smoother iOS work. Gallery loading and background tasks got attention too.

SDAI is now available on F-Droid.

This is the first release from SDAI's new Kotlin Multiplatform line to reach F-Droid — the shared foundation behind the modern SDAI experience on Android and iOS.

If your F-Droid install was still on 0.6.8, this is the long-awaited jump to the new generation of the app.

What to know:

- Version 1.1.1 (208) is now the suggested F-Droid release.
- This FOSS build is arm64-v8a only.
- Android 7.0 or newer is required.
- SDAI remains open source, ad-free, telemetry-free, and provider-first.
