A hotfix release for Scroll Sepolia nodes has been published. This release fixes the "batch hash mismatch" error: https://github.com/scroll-tech/go-ethereum/releases/tag/scroll-v5.8.25

Scroll Sepolia Euclid Phase-2 Upgrade has been completed and verified.

During the upgrade, we had to publish a new l2geth release to adopt a recent bugfix in the DA decoder module. Apart from this, the upgrade happened with no other issues.

Scroll is conducting Euclid Upgrade on Mainnet for lower gas fee, throughput, zkvm, and more. This upgrade is big so will be conducted in two phases.

Details:
- Phase-1: Wednesday, Apr 16 2025, 15:00 UTC
- Phase-2: Tuesday, Apr 22 2025, 07:00 UTC
- Duration: Approximate 4 hours
- Note: finalization will be delayed at most 24 hours during phase-1 upgrade.

Scroll Mainnet Euclid Phase-1 Upgrade

The upgrade will happen at timestamp 1744815600 (Wed April 16th 2025 15:00:00 GMT+0000), around 8 hours from now.

The node will be on v5.8.38 after the upgrade.

The Security Council has verified and finalized the MPT transition. This concludes phase-1 of the Euclid upgrade. Batch finalization and withdrawal processing will resume now.

Scroll Mainnet Euclid Phase-2 Upgrade

The upgrade will happen at timestamp 1745305200 (Tue Apr 22 2025 07:00:00 GMT+0000), in around 1 hour from now. The recommended node version remains v5.8.38 (same as phase-1).

The first Euclid Phase-2 bundle has been proven and finalized on Ethereum. This concludes the Euclid upgrade.

Scroll Mainnet Security Upgrade

Scroll has completed an upgrade to address security issues identified in the Euclid release. The upgrade was executed via transaction 0x783703d4e94de48edb75261149a540cbf7abb7ef077865c11080e622a508ab86 on April 25, 2025, at 07:06:59 AM UTC. The recommended node version remains v5.8.38.
This upgrade was approved by the Security Council through this multisig transaction.

Scroll RPC Endpoint Update

Please note that the Ankr public RPC endpoint https://rpc.ankr.com/scroll will be deprecated on June 7.

If you're currently using this endpoint, kindly update your setup to use the official Scroll RPC at: https://rpc.scroll.io
