We are excited to introduce our first Annual "Walk for Her Health" event in observation of Women's Health Week 2023! 🌸
Join us on this Mother’s Day morning of May 14th (8:30am-1:30pm) for a community walk and health fair hosted by our incredible team and women’s health alliance partners, @SPHMMC and @EMeWA. We are thrilled hold this program outside in nature, at the beautiful @Kuriftu Entoto Park.
This free event welcomes women of all ages to prioritize their health and well-being and is rooted in activities focused on health literacy, resource sharing, service linkages and opportunities to participate in live screenings with doctors and other health experts.
Enjoy various activities, booths, and sessions promoting wellness, nutrition, fitness, health professional development, productivity, and self-care. Meet local healthcare and wellness providers, learn about resources to boost your overall well-being, and empower yourself along with your community. ♥️Mothers have been the backbone of the reproductive health sector by helping find new ways to improve maternal and child health issues, tackling the stigma associated with issues such as intimate partner violence, maternal mortality, and gender-based violence. They continue to be at the forefront of advocating for gender equality, defending women’s rights, and empowering future generations.
♥️As we work towards improving maternal health in our community, we are reminded of the impact mothers have in our society. Your dedication to your families and your communities is truly remarkable, and we are honored to celebrate you today.

SCORA HMC in collaboration with SCOPH HMC held a fruitfull training on menstrual health and hygiene with highschool girls at Kokeb Tshibah General Secondary School.
We are so greatful to the school for giving us the chance to help with what we can and to the students who managed their lunch time to attentively participate and listen the training.
Kudos to our SCORA & SCOPH members for giving a successful training for the students.
Gratitude to icare,WEEA and Nobel cup that gave out 100 menstrual cups as a donation. Made our training much more a success.
