I was lucky enough to work in both the department of dermatology and the department of obstetrics and gynecology which provided a unique opportunity to enhance my clinical techniques and broaden my understanding of cross-cultural medical communication skills.
During my time there, I was able to engage with leading experts in both fields gaining insights into innovative treatment approaches as patient care strategies.

Last weekend, we set out on a three-day tour to Arbaminch, one of Ethiopia’s most breathtaking destinations. 🌿✨ The journey was nothing short of amazing, offering us the perfect blend of nature, adventure, and culture.
Our first stop was the stunning Nech Sar National Park, where endless green landscapes, wildlife, and fresh air gave us a true taste of Ethiopia’s natural beauty. We visited the majestic Lake Chamo, famous for its massive crocodiles—some believed to be over 100 years old! 🐊 Watching them in their natural habitat was both thrilling and unforgettable.
We also had the chance to immerse ourselves in the colorful traditions of the Dorze village. Known for its warm hospitality, cultural richness, unique handwoven attires, and traditional drinks, the experience was a beautiful reminder of Ethiopia’s diverse heritage.
Three days went by so quickly, but Arbaminch left us with memories that will last a lifetime.

I have no words to express my exchange experience in Czech Republic.The healthcare system to begin with is amazingly structured, I learned a lot in my department of pulmonary and wrote an extensive case report on a complicated patient. I met a lot of amazing doctors willing to teach me and show me all there is to know I loved how open minded and welcoming they were. I believe my experience at Brno University Hospital has given me great perspective and made me a better physician. Apart from academics our cultural exchange mixing of different cultures were amazing. I would say I made a lot of brothers and sisters.I got them to try out our famous firfir and shiro which they all loved. I loved sharing my countries culture and history with all of the people I met. I am very greatful for the opportunity. I would say it’s an experience to remember and cherish for a life time"
