Al-Arjali Launches Distribution of Non-Food Assistance in Bani Al-Harith District

Today, Judge Abdulrahman Al-Arjali, Director General of the Capital Secretariat Branch of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation (SCAMCHA), inaugurated the distribution of shelter kits as part of the 2025 project for providing shelter/non-food items, protection, and site management services for displaced persons in the Sana’a Hub.
The project, overseen by the SCAMCHA Capital Secretariat Branch and implemented by the Yemen General Union of Social and Psychological Specialists (YGUSSWP), is funded by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). Al-Arjali emphasized that the initiative aims to provide shelter materials to 500 displaced families in Bani Al-Harith District, stressing the importance of continued support and mobilizing funds to enable the Council and humanitarian partners to supply families with materials that can help ease their hardships.
For his part, Mr. Yahya Al-Haddad, Director of the Information Center at the branch, affirmed that the directives of the political leadership and the branch’s Director General, Judge Al-Arjali, call for prioritizing the displaced persons file and overcoming all field challenges to ensure that humanitarian aid reaches the beneficiaries.
The inauguration was attended by representatives of the Council involved in the project, representatives of UNHCR, and other attendees.
