In his desperate flight, Kaelthorn unwittingly crosses into the ruins of Lumora, once the grand capital of King Altheryon Dravenhart’s radiant kingdom, now a cursed wasteland after its people drank the Elixir of Immortality and were transformed into the eternal night-dwellers known as the Noctyrian. Within this Death City, Kaelthorn encounters Serenya Kaelith, a hardened survivor who saves him from the Noctyrian’s grasp, marking the beginning of his perilous journey through the Death City of Lumora.
