We had news outlets reach out to us last month about stock trades made around the tariff announcements.
Those articles all came out last week.
But now that they're out, politicians are filing "late" trades.
Just today, Representative Tim Moore filed an April 11th purchase of a triple-leveraged tech ETF which should have been disclosed weeks ago.
He will likely be fined $200.
A small price for avoiding negative press.
Especially when the ETF is up over 60% since his trade.
