With Trump easing up on tariff plans, Deutsche Bank now sees a smaller earnings hit and lifts its year-end S&P 500 target from 6,150 to 6,550. EPS forecast gets a bump too—from $240 to $267. Tariff-related earnings drag is now seen in the mid-single digits, down from mid-teens.

After reviewing the bank’s governance and risk management improvements, plus third-party assessments, regulators say the conditions for lifting the cap have been met. Other parts of the 2018 enforcement order still remain.
