Snowflake introduced Gen2 Standard Warehouse, delivering 2.1x faster analytics and up to 1.9x faster performance than Spark. It also launched Adaptive Compute (private preview) to automate scaling and resource use, reducing manual tuning. New Cortex Knowledge Extensions will let enterprises enrich AI with licensed content from AP, USA TODAY, and others, while Semantic Model sharing aims to improve trust and efficiency in AI outputs. Agentic apps are also coming to Snowflake Marketplace, boosting enterprise AI adoption.

Truist notes Nike $NKE has rolled out price hikes on select footwear now hitting retail. Shoes priced between $100–$150 are seeing a $5 increase, while those over $150 are up $10. Examples include the new Vomero 18 and Pegasus Premium. Truist says it’ll monitor how these increases affect sell-through in the coming weeks.
