MD: “Can you review all the Tegus calls on our target?”

Me: Prompted Hebbia, generated a report, sent it over.

Now I’m 4 tequila sodas deep at Surf Lodge. Memorial Day: saved. 🇺🇸

Interesting idea 👇

I’ve decided to allocate ~40% of my stock portfolio into a €6 million nano-cap!

The company is Talkpool AG $TALK.ST and I wrote a post about it on my substack a few months ago, so check out the original thesis if you're interested.

Here’s a short explanation on recent changes:

Currently, Talkpool is trading at just 4× EBIT. It has just finished its cost-cutting program, which was executed close to perfection, and is now fully focused on growth. Management plans to achieve a 17% CAGR through 2030, and thanks to their asset-light model they should be able to grow with minimal CapEx while generating significant free cash flow. The CEO, who owns over 20% of the company, has made it clear that excess FCF will be returned to shareholders. They’re expected to pay their first dividend next year.

So now the question any investor should ask when they spot a great opportunity is : Why does it exist?

In this case, many of the company’s conference calls and presentations are delivered in Swedish, putting them out of reach for many international investors. For example, management has talked about paying dividends next year and growing without significant CapEx, thanks to a new business segment—whereas previously they had to invest heavily to expand. This information isn't available in English.

Obviously, with a market cap of just €6 million, Talkpool is too small to attract most institutions, and until very recently its lack of profitability kept it off conventional screens.

I wrote in a more detail about Talkpool in my latest post on substack where I walk through my entire portfolio, the major changes I’ve made recently, and my reasoning behind each move.
