Nvidia $NVDA plans to release a new China-compliant Blackwell-based AI chip priced around $6,500–$8,000—cheaper than the $10K–$12K H20 model banned by U.S. export rules. The chip uses GDDR7 memory & skips TSMC’s CoWoS packaging. Mass production may start as early as June - RTRS

Alibaba Chair says Asian firms can lean into growth across Asia and Europe as “some governments try to tear down this bridge” with the world. He calls Europe “an incredible opportunity,” adds Americans are more “black and white,” while Europeans “understand nuances better.”

BofA: Nvidia's NVLink still leads AI interconnects, with 1.8TB/s vs. UALink’s 800GB/s. UALink, backed by $AMD/Broadcom, might trail NVLink by 1-2 generations but may help rivals challenge $NVDA by 2027. NVLink Fusion also opens a $12B TAM by letting select partners (ex-AMD) access NVLink for custom chips.

For AMD, UALink fills a key gap, rounding out its full AI rack stack: MI series chips, ROCm software, ZT Systems hardware, Ultra Ethernet, and now intra-rack networking via UALink — with deployments expected to begin with MI400 systems in late 2026.

🚨David Friedberg: "If I saw us adding a terawatt of electricity production capacity per year, I would shut the f**k up about the debt."

@friedberg on E229:

 "The critical linchpin for all of those other points of abundance being unleashed is the energy equation, and this is where I look very clearly and plainly at what China's doing versus where we're at today."

"We've got stated intentions, but the actions are where we're still... you know, we gotta start showing up."

"So the number of watts that the US can make at any given point in time is one terawatt, one trillion watts."

"Meanwhile, right now China is making three terawatts and they're scaling up to make eight."

"We are at one, going to two over the next 15 years."

@DavidSacks:

"Let's assume that we have enough power."

Friedberg:

"If we have enough power, the $38T of debt doesn't matter."

Sacks:

"That's a pretty important conclusion because if that's true and we can grow our way out of this problem, then that is an alternative to having this austerity approach."
