I know macro means little for long-term investing especially if you own quality compounders, but still quite worrying - a budget deficit of 7% with sub 4% unemployment.

Richemont & Louis Vuitton went public around the same time in the mid 80's.
The performance has been similar and spectacular for both, that is until 2015 where Louis Vuitton seem to completely separate itself. What changed ?
Not very familiar with the Richemont story but seems like a company worth looking into.
