Fellow academics, you really can't put out papers on "ChatGPT" without being clear about the model (GPT-3.5, 3.5 Turbo, GPT-4, etc.) and dates of your test

OpenAI seems to continually update models and capabilities are growing. "ChatGPT can/can't do X" changes a lot over time
