RT @CacheThatCheque: Japan has 37,550 companies that are over 100 years old, the most in the world.

It’s also interesting how Toyotas and Japanese motorbikes are everywhere in developing countries https://t.co/OGDt4YIM2Z

Gold is hitting new ATHs, yet the
miners are lagging significantly.
The "disconnect" creates a massive
opportunity for value-driven buyers.

When miners catch up to the spot
price, the move will be fast and loud.

My portfolio is now more heavily weighted toward Japanese stocks than U.S. stocks lol.

Japan really has a lot of hidden champions.

Why do people say “wrapper” like it’s some sort of insult?

Do people not realize everything is a “wrapper” of something?

Netflix runs on AWS. AWS wrapper.

VC is a wrapper for people who actually have money lol.

Literally everything. Dumbest term.

Spent some time brainstorming with ChatGPT what I want to build with Claude Code. Would be crazy if I can build this from scratch. (no programming knowledge). Dreaming big. https://t.co/kKKib5rqZr

This is fascinating. Substack wants to be a brand name, but doesn't solve for quality. Perhaps the algo does. But now Andy says that he's stopped reading them altogether. Feels safer to control your own destiny, off-platform.

I have a substack. I write a few things. I've stopped reading substack lately. They are mostly awful and some combination of too wordy and too AI "enhanced". Can't we just be succinct and real?
