Aaron Levie on why he thinks AI Doomers are WRONG about job replacement

@levie laid out his bullish stance on AI:

-- 90% new work creation ๐Ÿ“ˆ

-- 10% job replacement ๐Ÿค–

"Most of our conversations with customers are, when they have AI agents, they can now go and actually deliver work in areas that would've been unaffordable previously."

"In the Valley, unfortunately, we've been co-opted somewhat with a little bit of a doomer mindset in some areas."

"And we think of then AI as, like, 'It's all fixed pie, it's gonna replace things.'"

"And on the ground with large enterprises, the vast majority of the use cases are, it's the ability to finally review the contracts that we never got around to reviewing."

"It's the ability to finally automate an invoice process that we never did."

"It's the ability to go in and just create marketing campaigns in every language that we never got around to."

"So I think that'll probably be actually like 90% of the usage of AI in the future will be things that if we look back and we snapped the line right now, and we said this is what knowledge work is today."

"90% of AI usage will be things that we don't do today."

"I don't like the word replace because I think most of the upside is actually gonna be for companies that now deploy labor at things that they wouldn't have deployed labor at before."
