Day of earnings upgrade (I'd rather wait, but they feel it's too cheap) $FSLR
Janney Montgomery Scott upgraded First Solar to Buy from Neutral with a $260 fair value estimate ahead of the company's report due after today's close. Shares are down about 32% from their $300 high seen in mid-June, reflecting increased uncertainty related to project pushouts, AD/CVD tariff rulings and post-election worries, notes the firm, which sees a "much improved risk-reward profile" given the current valuation.

Seems like the Reuters report on OpenAI and Broadcom has confirmed a previous story from July by The Information which at the time had said discussions between the two were ongoing.
What might be considered new in the Reuters piece:
- OpenAI committing to using AMD chips for inference via MS Azure
- OpenAI abandoning creating their own foundry
Please opine if you believe this is inaccurate.

Clearbridge on O’Reilly $ORLY US
Thesis: O'Reilly’s strong execution, high returns on capital, and countercyclical nature of the auto parts industry make it a compelling investment in a challenging retail environment.

Nothing against those who’ve allocated capital to $TMDX
Yet, Munger’s words apply here
Can $TMDX be the next big thing? Absolutely.
Is it a top 50 business in the world? No.
Staying disciplined and avoiding the lure of newer “growth” stocks can really help over long-term

“It is remarkable how much long-term advantage people like us have gotten by trying to be consistently not stupid, instead of trying to be very intelligent.”
