For example, Salesforce $CRM and Visa $V may be considered cheaper right now, but they are not necessarily cheap

When PayPal ($PYPL) dropped below $100, it became cheaper, but only around $55 could it be considered truly cheap

Of course, a company can have a PE of 30x and still be considered cheap, while another with a PE of 15x might be expensive. This single metric alone isn't enough to assess a stock's true value
