1. Taiwan's April 2024 exports of Automated Data Processing Machines (servers) were $8.218 billion, +298% YoY.

2. This is down from March 2024's $8.715 billion (+465% YoY), suggesting an inflection which many reports have tied to the shipments of #AI servers.

3. Q1 2024 exports for these machines totaled $19.647 billion, +336% YoY and +23.5% QoQ.

4. Exports for the 3 months ending April 2024 (potentially tied to NVDA F1Q25) were $22.240 billion, +363% YoY and +33% QoQ.

5. Historically, this data correlates highly (R² = 0.98) with Nvidia's Datacenter revenue.

6. Based on this correlation, $NVDA DC revenue could be $25B+ vs. your estimate of $20.6B (Street: $21.1B).

7. $TSM also has revenues up 60% YoY, don't see that often.

CPI out on Wednesday and it will be an important one.

If it comes in Hot, the market will likely behave as it did when it came in Hot in the middle of April and decline hard

If it comes in cooler than expected, then the Fed has an easier job and can expect to rate cut, either during the summer or before the elections in Nov….the market can make one more leg up in this scenario, how much? Unlikely anything more than 5-10%.

The correction happens in both scenarios and it is healthy and needed.

It is either happening this month or when the Fed Rate Cuts, which is a signal the economy is cooling down which has been evident already from this earnings season.

I hold a lot of my positions but have been building to my cash reserves and safe havens during this time.

I recommend doing the same
