Who’s gonna be the first person to take advantage of the TikTok Tradwife trend to bring back ‘finishing schools’? I’m guessing you could end up making $10million/yr across franchised classes https://t.co/rFLP6lpAPn

RT @sebkrier: It's disappointing that many AGI risk skeptics seem to base their views on vibes (person X is weird/luddite/wrong tribe) or historical analogies (we survived Y fine), rather than dealing with actual arguments. Why not just reply to the points made here? https://t.co/dfKJ0xW90N

For founders who ask "are we too early to apply to YC?" here are the actual numbers. 77% of the current batch had no revenue yet when they were accepted. 52% had nothing more than an idea. https://t.co/WfwgAlG8lp
More founders applied to YC W23 than ever before.

More precisely, the myth is of a sudden very fast leap in abilities from below or near human to superhuman abilities, during which its values radically change, & this isn't noticed or it can't be stopped. Supporting argument is: "you can't prove otherwise". https://t.co/eYcADBOAEo
The *only* reason people are hyperventilating about AI risk is the myth of the "hard take-off": the idea that the minute you turn on a super-intelligent system, humanity is doomed.
This is preposterously stupid and based on a *complete* misunderstanding of how everything works.

Wow! I almost fell for it!

Might France ban #MidJourney as Italy did with #ChatGPT?

I wouldn't be surprised if a law is passed to punish the creation of fake impersonations made with #IA.
