“Prediction markets are often dismissed as gambling…”

Goes on to explain how they are exactly like gambling

Prediction markets are often dismissed as “gambling”—just as cars were once dismissed as “horseless carriages.”

Like any new innovation, they don’t fit neatly into any one category.

We’re already seeing prediction markets disrupt sportsbooks, reshape how news is reported/consumed, and give traders a native tool to price expectations.

The shift is underway.

The Startup Ideas Podcast (SIP) 🧃
RT @gregisenberg: how I'd use a sora 2, claude, and perplexity workflow to generate 1M+ views on videos:

→ perplexity handles audience research. it finds the psychology, patterns, and formats that actually go viral in your niche
→ claude turns that research into 10 short-form video ideas, then scores each one for hook strength, pacing, curiosity, and algorithm fit
→ sora 2 executes the winners using claude-optimized prompts. visuals, dialogue, text cues tuned for 10–15 second performance

every startup will eventually use ai-generated video for marketing. but right now, prompt craft is an edge.

the ones who learn it early turn ai output into attention leverage.

pretty crazy how distribution used to cost millions, now it costs prompts.

sora 2 is what happens when hollywood meets growth hacking

hope this workflow gets your creative juices flowing

i'll keep sharing if you keep watching.

RT @CEOStockWatcher: An insane month for CEO Watcher.

16 "Top Insider Purchases" shared in September, and they are already up an average of 15% (v 2% for S&P).

Not coincidentally (hopefully), we've been making *massive* upgrades on the backend (data back to 2009, incorporating company and industry valuation/momentum data, more backtesting, etc) and spent more time diving through filings/press releases/transcripts to try to understand why an insider may be buying.

A number of big frontend product improvements (incorporating much of this backend work) are coming very, very soon.

Grok Imagine received its first update, and the sound is now more natural and realistic. You can control the tone more easily than before, and the video is more cohesive and less jittery. It is also available on the Web ❤️ https://t.co/p2cnprpHrq
