Puzzled by yesterday’s action, huge enthusiasm & volume in pre-market, only to give it all back after the open. Feels like bots or a quick pump-dump, hard to explain the gap.
Any investment in $PMVP now is basically a bet on drug approval + commercialization (or a buyout). Phase 2 interim read looks promising, but I can’t add much on market potential beyond mgmt/sell-side.
Also, PMVP’s sell-off may be explained by liquidation thesis coming off the table and the focus narrowing to ovarian cancer. NDA is still ~1.5 years away.
The company cites a $350–420m US market and $520–630m global, broadly in line with sell-side models that mostly carry $5–6/share targets. In other words, the market already sees the opportunity as fairly defined, and the upside now depends less on blue-sky optionality and more on execution in ovarian.
