📢 $MDT Medtronic has announced Thierry Pieton, Renault's finance chief, as its new CFO, effective March 3, 2025.

💰 Pieton’s base salary is set at $850K/year, with a target bonus of 110% of his salary and a $3 million cash bonus.

🏥 Pieton will succeed Gary Corona, who has been serving as Interim CFO. Gary Corona stepped in after the departure of Medtronic’s previous CFO, Karen Parkhill, in June 2024.

🔄 Parkhill’s departure occurred months after Medtronic, as part of a turnaround strategy, exited its unprofitable ventilator product line within its patient monitoring and respiratory interventions (PMRI) business.

Here's what we found, using the data on Quiver:

- We do not see any active members of Congress with $GEO or $CXW in their portfolios. @AOC, please let us know if we're missing something.

- However, executives at Geo Group and CoreCivic did make large donations to Trump.

- Both stocks are up over 70% since Trump was elected.
