$CVS down ~22% since this post 📉
This highlights the importance of considering factors beyond value when investing ‼️
Thorough analysis of quality and capital allocation decisions is crucial to lessen the odds of falling into ‘value traps’
While $CVS made a strategic decision in acquiring Aetna, subsequent acquisitions of Oak Street Health and Signify Health were corrosive to shareholder value
Optimal resource allocation and operational efficiency maximization following the Aetna acquisition would have been the more effective approach for $CVS

@scroogecapital May be undervalued, yet I don’t consider $CVS investable due to its poor capital allocation & balance sheet … from the moment I can’t consider it a high-quality business, I stay away
No need for me to consider $CVS when I have many others to choose from 💪🏽 - Dimitry Nakhla | Babylon Capital®tweet

RT @TheLongInvest: $BABA Chinese ADR's have run 20-30% over the last month, including the HSI.
A pull back is needed before any parabolic move takes place, which is not what I like to see.
We are starting to see this pull back now.
Wait for support to be found on the pull back and take advantage.
$BABA, $BIDU, HSI, $PDD, $JD, $YINN, $NIO.

I wonder how many people remember what happened to Cisco $CSCO after they did a stock split in 2000? https://t.co/0onSmzYSAb

X logic:
Chinese stocks should not be bought because China is carrying out military drills around Taiwan
$NVDA, whose chips are built by TSMC, in Taiwan, jumps 9% today, adding $250 Billion to its Market Cap and is quickly becoming the most valuable company in the world.
I didn’t think this needed to be said but the market doesn’t care what you think, it buys value.
And the HSI is outperforming the US market this year.

A daunting task for $BABA but definitely not priced in.

Remember the UK mid-caps!
"UK household energy bills are set to fall in the summer after energy regulator Ofgem said it would lower the price cap by 7%."
"Typical households pay £1,568 a year, compared with the current £1,690 a year."
"Average bills will have fallen 21% since July 2023, helping efforts to fight inflation. But they remain higher than before the energy crisis began, when the cap was typically below £1,100."
