RT @TheLongInvest: $AAPL important point to remember
$AAPL started its decline in December whereas the $SPY started its decline on the 1st of April
$AAPL was ahead of the market in July for Wave 4 and will recover ahead of the market now.
Bounce right now is Wave B for us.

$AAPL why is $AAPL the only stock green?
Our members know why, it is the only Mega Cap that has completed its Wave A correction and is in Wave B now.
All other Mega Caps appear to be only starting their Correction.
$AAPL lead the market to decline in July 2023 and will likely be the first to recover from its correction.
$AAPL will always be the market leader. - The Long Investortweet

This breakdown is vital to understanding the big picture, thanks for sharing @StockMarketNerd
$AAPL Q/Q growth is -24% total and -30% on products.
Y/Y growth is also a concern at -4.3% and -9.5%
Like we said, this is a bounce for Wave B but ultimately the pull back is not complete
Red flags are raised when Mega Caps go overly aggressive with buybacks and increased dividends to cover cracks
Dead cat bounces are exit liquidity

This is a very informative answer from the call:
"Yes, sure. So look, Toshiya, when we start with the road map, I mean, we always think about it as a multiyear, multigenerational road map. So we have the follow-ons to MI300 as well as the next, next generations well in development. I think what is true is we're getting much closer to our top AI customers. They're actually giving us significant feedback on the road map and what we need to meet their needs.
Our chiplet architecture is actually very flexible. And so that allows us to actually make changes to the road map as necessary. So we're very confident in our ability to continue to be very competitive. Frankly, I think we're going to get more competitive. Right now, I think MI300x is in a sweet spot for inference, very, very strong inference performance.
I see as we bring in additional products later this year into 2025, that, that will continue to be a strong spot for us. And then we're also enhancing our training performance and our software road map to go along with it. So more details to come in the coming months, but we have a strong road map that goes through the next couple of years, and it is informed by just a lot of learning in working with our top customers." - Dominik Filkustweet

Apple revenue fell 4% over the last year, the 5th negative YoY growth rate in the last 6 quarters. Net income declined 2% year-over-year to $23.6 billion. But they authorized a record $110 billion in share buybacks and the stock is up 7% in after-hours trading. $AAPL https://t.co/pAOJdX7XEb - Charlie Bilellotweet

$PLTR ‘s CEO getting into politics is relatively acceptable, because the product is political in nature.
The $HIMS CEO getting into politics is not, because the product has nothing to do with politics. I’m disappointed with the move and thinking about selling my shares.

HSI is now up 15% in 2 weeks
This is not a normal situation to see an index increase by this amount over a short period of time
Inflows from the US is likely the cause of this aggressive buying and mainland China
If US institutions have not started adding already, they will shortly

Shared a table at a dinner with two engineers from the West Coast yesterday.
Naturally AI was the first topic we discussed.
Got more convinced that avoiding investments outside of your circle of competence is the right thing.
It is just too complicated with lots of innovation and changes to form a view for the next few years when most value is created.

The questions need to be asked:
Why did $GOOG and $AAPL need to go so aggressive with buybacks and dividends?
and why did $AMZN not do either?
$AMZN is focused on growth and innovation and not focused on share holders short term value. (Which is a great approach for long term holders)
$GOOG and $AAPL were aware they needed to help their share price for this earning season but unfortunately, they can't use that same card for their next earnings report....ask $META how this went for them.

$VICI now has a Net Profit Margin above 70%
One month ago we highlighted that it is the only company in the S&P 500 with a net profit margin above 60%.
Dividend is also at 5.7%
It is our belief that when interest rates come down, $VICI will likely benefit the most from this.
