Overheard at the conference from the long/short PM:

When we short we have a team of a dozen dedicated analysts working full time on accounting inconsistencies, these are serious people doing serious work.
I know most short shops that get the most coverage are usually on Twitter. They usually likely cover their short within the first day after they publish on Twitter but these are not serious people.

😂 😂

Whales sell the news?

or

It's a positive catalyst?

Ok this is interesting:

Fidelity PM’s are now using $META Llama 2 to summarize, analyse and dissect research reports , SEC filings, Press releases. They’re able to do this at a scale unseen in firm history. This has potential to completely change the stock picking landscape.

$BTC if I were a Bitcoin whale I would absolutely dump at the halving event tomorrow and immediately rebuy when support is found

Easy money

A history of the copper narrative in my Twitter DMs.

Copper at $3.75: “You’re bullish copper? Don’t you realize China’s RE market is dead? I’d be shorting here.”

Copper at $4.40: “Hey, what was that copper stock you told me about? I’m interested in the space.”

🤷‍♂️
