Chinas Q1 GDP exceeded estimates at 5.3%...expected GDP was 4.6% YoY.
From the graph below, we can clearly see that GDP had an issue in 2022 (post Covid) since then the recovery is almost back to its Pre Covid level.
If you were to only listen to X, you would believe that China has gone back to the stone age.
In comparison, the US GDP in 2023 was 2.5% YoY....China's growth is DOUBLE that of the US.
