RT @fultonbot: Hi @katewillaert , my 24 year-old daughter just asked me "Dad, when did the idea that 'girls don't play video games' arise?" I told her I believe it was in the 90's, but do you know of any research on this topic I can point her to?

The price of gold is not a hedge against inflation. Rather, it's an instrument that goes in the opposite direction to the demand for fiat currency. Even stranger, the demand for fiat doesn't seem to be the opposite of inflation. What's going on now is damn strange.

RT @emollick: It remains shocking how much of the world has little to no access to venture capital.
As examples: startups in the city of Boston raised more VC in Q4 than every startup in India, Japan, and Mexico combined. LA more than France & Germany combined. Philadelphia out-raised Brazil. https://t.co/852VCH69XO https://t.co/RqM6K9THE5
