The number of active Mastodon users (those who've been logged in in the last 30 days) has fallen from 2.6 to 1.8 million. There's a wave of new users after each Musk tantrum but the majority don't stay. Even the 1.8M figure is inflated by new accounts, so I expect a further drop. https://t.co/JKTK8CdFBZ

RT @mezaoptimizer: Thx to Scott Aaronson, GPT outputs will soon be watermarked w/ a random seed, making it much harder to submit your GPT-written homework without getting caught

He doesn’t give too many details about how it works, but I suspect its possible to bypass using a clever decoding strat https://t.co/husBntJJPC

RT @CathieDWood: Last month, BBC reported that GOSH, a research hospital in the UK, base edited the genome of a 12-year-old girl, Alyssa, suffering from leukemia. She had failed dozens of therapies and had no more options. Seven months later, she is cancer- free. Not many investors know about it.
