Heyy SCIS 😛💥

I am Emma, a year 1 student studying Information Systems, and I am running for the 23rd Ellipsis Management Committee! 🙌🏼

I had a fruitful experience in SMU so far, with the numerous orientations and events that have taken place. A glimpse into the culture of SMU has really expanded my horizons and I have gained unforgettable memories. These experiences have definitely shaped me into who I am today.

I hope to allow other SCIS students go through an experience as memorable as mine, by making computing events more welcoming and providing a fulfilling journey in university. 🍁

For an elevated experience in SCIS, vote Emma for Ellipsis! 🪎

🗳 When to vote? 21st - 25th Sept 2026

Hi SCIS!! 😁😚💕

I’m Shannon, a Year 1 IS student running for the 23rd Ellipsis Management Committee! 🫶✨

I really value the role that student life plays in shaping our uni experience. Beyond acads, some of the best parts of school come from the people we meet, the experiences we share, and the opportunities we get to try something new. 💫

I hope to help create more opportunities for you guys to have fun, build meaningful friendships, discover new interests and gain exposure beyond the classroom.

Please give shann a chance and vote for me next week! 💌

🗳️ Voting Period: 21–25 September

Hellooo SCIS! 👋

I’m Jun Han, a Year 1 in Information Systems, running for the 23rd Ellipsis MC!

We’ve all had these moments - wondering what your first day of school would be like, what to do after class ends, or if you’re even on the right track. 🥀

Going for the orientations, workshops, and events, I really appreciated how easily I could get help and support from other students and seniors firsthand, and I want everyone to have that. 🤍

Let’s make sure that every one of our peers feels taken care of, and make more core memories together this academic year! 🎉

Vote for me, and let’s make it happen! 💫

Voting period runs from 21st to 25th Sept, do check your emails for the link! 🔗

Hii SCIS! 👋

I'm Johan, a Year 1 Information Systems student running for the 23rd Ellipsis MC! 🦉

Technology is a huge part of my journey, but what excites me most is how it brings people together. Through tech projects, internships, and community work, I've learnt that meaningful impact is never created alone but through collaboration, communication, and a shared goal. 💻

I hope to contribute to Ellipsis not only as a society, but also as a community where members feel welcomed and supported. Whether through events or initiatives that connect people, I believe the best opportunities come from the relationships and experiences we build together. 🤝

Ellipsis has given many students opportunities to learn, contribute, and find a sense of belonging. I hope to play a part in continuing that culture while helping strengthen the bond that makes Ellipsis special. ❤️

Thank you for your support, I'd be grateful for your vote! 📢

🗳️ Voting Period: 21–25 September 2026 - Check out your email for the voting link!

HEY SCIS! 😝☁️

I’m Jaimin, a Y2 IS student and a part of the 22nd Ellipsis EC! The past year has been nothing short of a fun-filled and fulfilling journey, so I’m here to run for the 23rd Ellipsis MC! 🙌🏻

Through the hectic assignments and projects, I’ve come to realise that what makes school special are the little things. The events we look forward to, the people we meet and the small moments become our favourite memories 💌🫰🏻

I’d love to continue contributing to the SCIS community by creating more meaningful experiences, stronger connections and LOTS of fun!! ⭐️

🗳️ If you’d like to be jamin’ with Jaimin and make this year a HIT 🤸‍♂️, look out for the voting email from 21st-25th September and vote for me! 🌷

💙 HEY SCIS!! 💛

I’m Vivienne, and I’m excited to be running for the 23rd Ellipsis Management Committee!👾✨

To me, university is more than lectures, deadlines and debugging code at questionable hours 😭 It’s also about the people we meet, the experiences we share and the little moments that make school feel less overwhelming.

I want to play my part in creating an SCIS experience where students feel heard, supported and excited to get involved — whether through meaningful initiatives, enjoyable events or simply more reasons to look forward to being on campus! 🫶

I’m ready to listen, contribute and give my best to our SCIS community. So when the voting link lands in your inbox…

HEY SCIS!! 👾❤️‍🔥

I’m Aishani, a Y2 SE student and a firm believer that some of the best things start with a simple “why not?” 😭 Those little “why nots” have brought me some of my favourite people, unexpected experiences, and best memories in SMU. 🫶

And I think SCIS should have more of those moments, with more chances to try something new, connect with others, and have your voice heard. That’s what I hope to bring to Ellipsis: more moments we can all say AYE to. ❤️‍🔥

And well… I’ve said AYE to one more thing: running for the 23rd Ellipsis MC. 👀

I’ve said my AYE.
Now will you SAY AYE TO AISHANI? 🫵👀

Hey SCIS! ✌️

I'm Rui Heng, a Y2 IS student, and I'm running for the 23rd Ellipsis MC.

My time in SCIS this past year has been nothing short of fantastic. I've met the greatest people and found a place to call home 🏠

I want to make the SCIS community closer and their time here more fulfilling, especially since uni life is quite overwhelming. I believe that everyone should be able to look back on a memorable experience 🔥

It's been my privilege this past year to serve as the Welfare Director of Ellipsis and the VP of Meta 2026. I have no regrets and would absolutely do it again. For the next year, I want to continue contributing and to RUI-se the bar 👆 Vote for me and I'll strive for a brighter SCIS.

🗳️ Voting is from from 21-25 Sept, remember to check your emails for the link!

HEYY SCIS!! 💛🦉
I’m Aye Chan Paing, aka Carolyn, a Y2 IS student running for the 23rd Ellipsis MC! ✨

Having served as an HGS Executive over the past year, I’ve had the chance to contribute to Ellipsis and support the SCIS community from behind the scenes. Through that experience, I realised how much I genuinely enjoy serving this community and being part of something that brings SCIS students together. 🫶

This year, I want to step up and give even more. I want to contribute wherever I can, listen to what students need, and do my part to make SCIS more connected, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone.

If elected, I promise to give my all, put in the effort, and always keep the SCIS community at heart. 💛

So… want someone who CAREs? 👀
Vote CAROLYN!👀💛

HEY SCISSS 😋🐳

I'm Cassandra, a Year 2 IS student running for the 23rd Ellipsis Management Committee ⭐️

I spent last year in the 22nd EC and I figured out that the best parts of SMU aren't the ones on your transcript 🤔. They're the supper runs after an event 🍟, the group chat that is still going on at midnight and someone you met (& became #chingus with) bringing you along to something you didn't plan to attend 👯‍♀️

I'd love to run it back once more 🔙! Uni life here gets overwhelming, so I want to make the SCIS community closer and everyone's time more fulfilling 💫 I hope that everyone gets an SCIS they can look back on and call memorable 🔥

🗳 Voting: 21–25 September 2026

Cass-t your vote for me? 😜
p.s. "cass-t your vote" took me four seconds to think of and i've never been #prouder 🥸

HEYY SCIS!! 🦉🔥

I'm Zheng Kai, Y2 CS, and I'm running for the 23rd Ellipsis MC! 🙌

SCIS has honestly been the best part of uni for me, and it's because of the people here. The ones who are always down to try something, build something, or hype you up when you need it 🫶

This past year in Ellipsis, I got to help make more of that happen. We reworked all our workshops, and brought tech into META to streamline how it runs and give it a flavour only SCIS could pull off 💙

And I want to keep going! More chances to build together, more things we make as SCIS, and more reasons to be proud of where we're from ✨

Vote for me, and let's build SCIS into something we're all excited to be part of ⭐️

🗳 Voting period is 21st to 25th September, do keep a lookout in your email!
