What Happens to Tin? βοΈ
At low temperatures, tin undergoes an allotropic transformation, turning into a form that resembles a "dirty" powder. The lower the temperature, the more intense the process of "tin pest" becomes. This phenomenon occurs as tin crystallizes into a brittle form, which is a serious issue for items made of tin in extremely cold environments. π‘c

Sunken Volcanic Islands Found in the Canary Islands β Possible Prototype of Atlantis
A team discovered islands on an underwater mountain containing three now inactive volcanoes, with a diameter of about 50 kilometers. Its base lies approximately 2.3 kilometers below the ocean surface. The scientists named this new underwater mountain Monte Los Atlantes (Mountain of the Atlanteans) after the legendary civilization described by Plato, which was submerged by the gods due to the immorality of its inhabitants.
The team found Monte Los Atlantes while exploring the seabed off the coast of Lanzarote, the easternmost of the Canary Islands, using a remotely operated vehicle at depths ranging from 100 to 2500 meters. During the Eocene epoch, Monte Los Atlantes consisted of a series of islands. After the volcanoes stopped erupting, the lava solidified and became denser, causing the islands to sink into the ocean.

Examples of three-body problem solutions πβοΈπ
The three-body problem consists of finding the coordinates and velocities of three massive objects at any given moment, based on initial gravitational conditions. π°
Even a slight change in the initial positions of any of the three bodies can lead to entirely different predictions about their future locations. πβ¨

Stinging Nettle Leaves πΏπ₯
Ever wondered why nettles sting? Their stems and leaves are covered in tiny, almost invisible hairs that are very sharp to the touch. These hairs easily pierce the skin and, when broken, remain embedded in it.
These hairs contain a sap, which includes formic acid, histamine, and vitamin B4. When the hairs come into contact with the skin, the sap seeps into it, causing a burning sensation at the pierced area.
