📖 A Journey Through Greek Tales: Storytelling Festival at the Limassol Municipal Library

The event brought together students, families, and book lovers for a celebration of storytelling, creativity, and learning.

We were delighted to welcome author Georgia Aristeidou-Themistokleous, who presented her book Learning to Say NO, while our Secondary School students proudly shared an original fairy tale they had created themselves.

Visitors also explored crafts and educational materials prepared by our Primary School students, making the event a truly engaging experience for all ages.

🌿 The culmination of our Grade 3 unit, Sharing the Planet

Our students presented their research projects on endangered species native to Cyprus and explored meaningful ways to protect them. The passion and awareness these young learners brought to the topic was truly inspiring.

We were thrilled to welcome the team from Terra Cypria, a wonderful conservation charity, to join us for the occasion. Through the generous efforts of our students, parents, and school staff, we collectively raised €270 to support their vital conservation work on the island.

Terra Cypria shared that they were deeply impressed by our school, the children's enthusiasm, and their thoughtful understanding of environmental issues — and expressed their excitement about future collaboration with our school community.

🏫 Our Primary School Student-Led Conferences gave students the opportunity to take centre stage and share their learning journeys with their families.

Through subject-based stations, students presented their work, reflected on their progress, discussed challenges and achievements, and invited parents to participate in interactive learning activities.

The conferences were a wonderful example of student agency in action, showcasing confidence, responsibility, and a genuine sense of ownership over learning.
