We want to make sure when you are trying to check if someone is a scammer you get accurate up-to-date information

On that note DO NOT RELY ON TELEGRAM SEARCH AS A TOOL TO CHECK THE LIST

We have received multiple reports of users noticing listed scammers did not pull up for them when using telegrams built-in search

This is a known issue and we are unfortunately unable to make the search provided by telegram better

What can we do?

We have built lookup tools that let you search if users are listed even without a username set.

You can DM @scamtracking

You can DM @Scamtracking_submissions_bot

Or you can send a message to any chat (even group chats) in this format
@Scamtracking_submissions_bot <username>

OR you can reply to another users message in group chat with just “@Scamtracking_submissions_bot” (this helps when scammers remove their username)

Messages from our channel or our bots can be forwarded to show they are really from us and now include a timestamp to let you know if the message is old

All four methods are managed automatically. For human support dm the channel or the bot and join the group from the automated menu.
