Yumi with @scamtracking
Recently we have noted some complaints and strange stories about scamtracking from a small number of users that have never used our service as far as we can tell.
Upon investigation it showed complaints of a high false positive rate and listing normal furries as the main issue being raised.
One complaint alleged we listed an entire chat group for disagreeing with policy and listed normal furries for βaiding scammersβ
This raised some red flags, as weβve never listed someone for those reasons. We also donβt have a mechanism to list a chat.
After digging into it, I believe there is some confusion going on.
There is another service operating under branding close enough to Furry Assisted Scam Tracking (FAST) that some people are confusing the two.
Iβm not entirely sure the long term goals of their project, but I want to make it clear that we are unaffiliated with other lists.
@scamtracking / FAST remains committed to accuracy and manual review by people with experience in fraud and security.
Our false positive rate is under 0.5% and our APIs are used by automatic moderation systems in ~4000 groups on telegram.
We do this with a great team and great community behind us to report and double check the work.
Hopefully this helps clear things up for anyone confused about the projects, thanks for the support!
