#SayFuture Russia tackles all-embracing security problems The project "Say Future: Security" started in Russia. A new thematic platform is created to systematize the current world and Russian experience in the field of security. Based on the results of the first launch of the platform, it is planned to formulate a strategic work plan for the first half of the 21st century from leading experts in the field of security. This was stated by the organizers of the International Exhibition of Police and Military Equipment "Interpolitex". "Say Future: Security" is a new format of the business program of the "Interpolitex" exhibition, built on a fundamentally new platform. Among the declared blocks: Security of the Future, Cognitive Technologies, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Video Surveillance, special project “Safety in Russian Style”, Success Stories, profile seminars and much more. "There is a unique experience in the creation and organization of various security systems in Russia," said Nikolai Marichev, representative of the "Say Future: Security" Organizing Committee. "Our idea is to collect all the most interesting and up-to-date information on the one platform and to demonstrate this to Russian and foreign investors, entrepreneurs, specialized state services and agencies." An open call for gathering of proposals and hypotheses from profile expert communities was launched in January 2018, which results will be processed by platform specialists and submitted for final discussion in October 2018. Mr.Viktor Petrishchev, an expert at the Antiterror site, marked: "The potential of the “Say Future: Security” platform will be fully appreciated by experts working on countering terrorist threats. "Say Future: Security "provides an opportunity to discuss a number of pressing issues in this sphere: inspection equipment and algorithms for its use, detection of explosives and explosive devices, effective use of surveillance equipment at protected sites, equipment for neutralizing explosive devices and some others.” The basic document, as the authors of the new security project expect, will include not only a list of potential threats, but also proposals for preventive technologies. Mr. Dmitry Fonarev, President of the National Association of Bodyguards of Russia, is confident that a serious document revealing the genesis of future threats should appear following the results of the first "pilot" launch of the "Say Future: Security" project. "It is security that determines the future, not the economy or politics," emphasizes Mr. Fonarev, "anyone who is protected can develop who is defenseless is doomed to a constant systemic risk that has a steady upward trend. This is indicated by statistics, which we have been conducting for 25 years." Many foreign countries showed interest in the new Russian project. Profile experts from Switzerland, Israel, China, France, United Arab Emirates, Belgium, Germany, Poland, USA, Czech Republic, South Korea, South Africa, Japan, Latvia, Belarus and other countries will take part in the final discussion of the strategic plan for security. "I am confident that this will be a good contribution to solving problems of a global scale," concluded Mr. Nikolai Marichev, the representative of the "Say Future: Security" Organizing Committee.
