Once upon a time in a quaint little town, there lived a group of orthodox squirrels who believed in the sacredness of acorns. They followed the age-old traditions of burying their acorns in precise patterns, chanting hymns to the mighty oak tree. Their rituals…
No strategy working on learning new vocabularies? Here's new effective method to memorize the words:
Although it might seem impossible to memorize the word for lifetime, if you learn the word in its context, you can keep it in your long-term memory.
-First, you pick up a word, let's say "cantankerous"; then, you ask ChatGPT to create a creative sentence/story for you, and it will come up with something like this[or story above]:
Despite his cantankerousness, the old cat begrudgingly allowed the playful kitten to curl up beside him in the warmth of the sunbeam.
If it is difficult to imagine, ask GPT to make it simpler. After getting the story, imagine the situation and the role word that you are learning is playing. For example, you can create scene of how cat is cantankerous based on the sentence GPT has provided. Nevertheless, repetition is essential to transfer the word to your long-term memory, so every time you see the word, try to imagine that situation. Additionally, you can come up with your own story/sentences but make sure they are creative or peculiar.

The Value of Bi-Weekly Exams
Dear Students and Parents, to support our students' success on the SAT, we implement bi-weekly SAT exams as a cornerstone of our prep strategy . This approach isn't just about frequent testing; it's a carefully thought-out method to ensure every student is on track for their college ambitions. Here's why these bi-weekly exams are so crucial:
1. Regular Feedback Loop
Frequent exams provide immediate feedback on students' strengths and areas for improvement. This regular insight allows students to pivot their study strategies effectively, focusing on topics that need more attention.
2. Building Test Endurance
The SAT is not just a test of knowledge but also endurance. Regular exams help students build the stamina needed to tackle the extensive format of the SAT without compromising performance due to fatigue.
3. Time Management Skills
Through repeated exposure to the test environment, students become adept at managing their time efficiently. These exams serve as a practical arena for students to apply time management strategies, ensuring they can complete each section within the allocated time during the actual test.
4. Reducing Test Anxiety
Familiarity breeds confidence. By facing the test format and types of questions every two weeks, students demystify the SAT process. This exposure significantly reduces test anxiety, allowing students to approach the actual exam with a calm and focused mindset.
5. Adaptive Learning
Bi-weekly testing enables us, the educators, to tailor our teaching to the evolving needs of our students. By analyzing the collective and individual performance data from these exams, we can adapt our instruction to better serve our students' learning requirements.
6. Keeping Momentum
Consistent testing keeps students engaged and motivated in their SAT preparation journey. It serves as a regular reminder of their goals and the progress they are making towards them, encouraging a steady and dedicated effort.

How can you improve your English score on the SAT of you're stuck? ❄️
Here are some tips from us:
• General reading. Most students only focus on the test itself, doing thousands of practice questions. However, remember that the Reading section tests your reading skills which is all about comprehension. So, you must first train your comprehension while reading. The best way to do that is to constantly read from different sources: books, articles, newspapers. Choose whatever you like, but don't limit yourself to practice questions only.
• Learn new words. It may feel like there are too many words in English language that can be overcomplicating, but there's a certain range of words that appear in the exam over and over again. We posted the last updated list here. Familiarizing yourself with these words is crucial for a successful exam performance, especially if you're aiming at 700+ in English.
• Go into details. Sometimes students don't study the grammar rules needed for the Writing section of the English test till the end. This leads them to make careless mistakes in easy-to-answer questions. So, you have to understand that getting all questions right means being able to answer almost any kind of question. So, don't miss any grammar detail and study until the end.
• Analyze. The biggest mistake of students when preparing for any kind of standardized test is not analyzing their practice tests. Don't just leave your solved test. Take your time to brainstorm and take notes on why you made a mistake in a particular question and why the correct answer is correct and how you could and will not get wrong.
