The entire film is the aesthetic of the COVID world. A liturgical celebration of the destruction of the True, the Good and the Beautiful. The kind of mania it induced is the kind of BigPharma mania (BigPharmania) we are living in.
The weird thing is, culture seems to have never moved forward from Frank-N-Furter. We are in reality caught in the Timewarp. I can't see a difference between that film and the entire mainstream Western culture today. Nobody is doing anything any different. It was the final frontier movie before the Internet. The mass electric sex change that melted us all into sterile digital avatars.
Red lips kissed the world and turned it into a raging rebellion against the Divine order of male and female. On the Internet, we're in perpetual Timewarp. It's porn, deception and hysteria.
The computer is the electric Frank-N-Furter.
